My name is Alfonso, originally from San Sebastián, Spain. I work at the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AECID) in Lima, Perú. With a particular focus in peace and conflict, disease prevention and climate change I am trying to make a career in the sector of global health. I hold many passions including playing guitar, rock climbing, and surfing among others. Also, I feel a constant hunger for learning (this site is the result of a new interest in programming, for example) which I try to satisfy by taking on new goals and challenges. Anyway, not looking to bore you here, so take a deeper look at my portfolio if you are interested in getting to know me a bit better.

My interests
Always looking out for new things to try, I have come to pursue many interests over the course of my life. Filled with curiosity and striving to push myself every time I undertake a new challenge, I have become a fast learner and agile in a variety of subjects. With motivation, discipline (when it lends itself), with humour and never taking myself very seriously, I try to dive into new interests, some of which I have presented below.
Playing Guitar
Music is arguably my biggest passion, and without a doubt the activity I have dedicated the most time to in my adult life. Here is a jazzy tune I wrote, so you can listen to something and not get bored while scrolling!
